Careful I am not asking whether god exists cause that might just open up a big can of worms that is impossible to close. However what I want to know is does religion exist? Religion is defined as: "a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects". However are there two people anywhere in the world who have the exact same beliefs. I mean even family members differ in their beliefs of what is right and wrong, good and evil, ethical and unethical, etc., etc., Some people might call themselves a member of one religion but eat "forbidden food", saying it is not forbidden to them. Other people might strictly avoid the same foods, saying they are completely forbidden. Guess the simple point I am try to make is how is it possible for religion, or a shared set of beliefs to exist, when no two persons can possible share 100% of the same beliefs?
